Arrival in Lyon

After getting an upgrade to Business Class and enjoying a lovely sleep on the plane, I arrived in Lyon, France.

My hosts for the next week, Julie and Armin, were there to greet me at arrivals. They took the scenic route back to the farm so I could see the small villages along the way. It’s quite breathtaking.
We arrived at the farm and was treated with some local cheese, fresh bread, first of the local strawberries with cream.
The farm is tranquil and quite, the accommodation has everything you need and is very bright with great views across the hills and valleys.
I can see the snow caps of the Rhône Alps off in the distance ( will take pics with my good camera later) and the horses grazing outside my window. Currently , my happy place.
I’ve been on a tour, met all the horses, dogs, cats, chickens and geese.
My first ride will be tomorrow... hoping it doesn’t rain.
I’m going to rest up before dinner and have a great nights sleep.
Chat later :)
