Hello Capri !

Had to be at the Port early to catch the 10:30 ferry to Capri. 
Checked the bus schedule and the 8:50 bus from Positano should get me to the Port by 9:30.  Hmmmm, no bus at came at 8:50 ... the bus actually showed up at 9:50!  Well, it should get me to the Port by 10:20 if it all worked out.  Nope !  Roadworks ... figures    Got off the bus 2 stops early and ran for it ... I turned the corner into the Port area just in time to see them pull the ramp away from the dock.  The next ferry wasn't until 2:00pm ... and, on top of it all, I had to pay for another ticket.
So what do I do for 4 hours ??? Coffee and Gelato ... and window shopping.
Finally, I got on the ferry.  My Boat tour around Capri was scheduled for 3:00pm, luckily the ferry only takes 30 minutes.  Met some Scuba divers from Atlanta on the Ferry so we talked about our favourite dive holidays and where to go next.  I told them about Indonesia and gave them some information on the liveaboard boat that we had taken while there.
Docked in Capri !  now to find the meeting place specified by the boat operator.  The other 4 guests were already there and we boarded the boat.  Now, the rain that had been threatening started ... just spitting really so 3 of us decided to sit on the bow of the boat.  It was great fun .. the couple sitting with me were from New Dehli and this was also their first time in Italy.  The boat ride took about 2 hours in total and we stopped at the green grotto, white grotto and we looked at where the entrance to the famous blue grotto was.  Unfortunately, the weather had created high waves and the blue grotto was closed.  The ceiling in the grotto is only about a metre and a half high and the waves would have pushed the little boats to the ceiling and flooded them. 
The couple from India sitting with me on the bow of the boat were thinking they could go snorkelling ... despite the fact that it was 8c !  The captain said 'ok' and shrugged his shoulders, so we stopped in the green grotto.  Only the husband decided to take the plunge while his wife sat stuggled under some towels.  Credit where credit is due !  he jumped in !  he has never snorkled before and he was determined to do it.  He said he could see the corals and some fish ... then, after about 2 minutes, we pulled him from the water before the hypothermia set in.  Everyone cheered as he came back to the boat.  The rain was getting a bit heavier by this point so we moved from the bow of the boat to the sheltered area in the back.  The captain then gave us some wine, snacks and Limoncella (nope for me :P) ... then we headed back to the port.
The rain was pelting down by the time I got to the ferry dock to catch the ferry back to Positano.  I had a raincoat on and my dry bag contained by camera gear and purse.   My jeans and running shoes were soaked and the wind made it very cold.   During the ferry ride back I found myself shivering .
I was NOT going to battle with bus back to Positano (see as it only comes once an hour, if at all), so I caught a taxi.  Best 43 euros I ever spent !  We past the bus stop with about 50 people waiting for the bus (which only holds 25 at best) all were wet and miserable looking.
When I got back to the BnB I was happy that I had some ham, cheese and bread in the fridge along with plenty of coffee, tea and milk ... I was in for the night
